PP Reusable Packaging Box Liners
Details
PP Reusable Packaging Box Liners are corrugated polypropylene components used inside returnable packaging boxes for base lining, product separation, side protection and internal positioning. They are converted from PP corrugated sheet into flat or formed liner parts according to the box structure. Reference thicknesses range from 2 to 12 mm, with sheet widths from 50 to 2400 mm and lengths up to 12000 mm. Finished dimensions, slots, cut-outs, crease lines and profiles can be specified from drawings, samples or dimensional data.

Product Benefits

Controlled Internal Layout
Base panels, side liners and partition structures help define the usable space inside a reusable box and maintain a consistent product arrangement during handling.
Moisture-Resistant Surface
Polypropylene has low moisture absorption, making the liner practical for storage and transport environments where humidity or wet handling is present.
Practical Panel Weight
The hollow corrugated structure provides panel rigidity without the mass of a solid plastic panel, which helps during installation, removal and repeated handling.
Conversion Flexibility
The sheet can be cut, slotted, creased and shaped to match different box geometries, product clearances and internal layouts.

Typical Applications

Returnable Packaging Boxes
Base and side liners provide separation between packaged products and the container structure while maintaining the intended internal dimensions.
Industrial Component Packaging
Partitions and fitted panels separate components during production transfer, storage and transportation, helping maintain defined positions inside reusable containers.
Agricultural Packaging
Liners can separate product layers and provide internal positioning in reusable packaging used for agricultural products during handling and distribution.
Warehouse & Distribution Packaging
Cut panels and partitions organize loading space inside turnover containers and reusable transport boxes used across storage and distribution operations.

Liner Configurations

Base Liners
Flat panels are fitted to the bottom of the box to create a defined surface between the product and container base. Panel dimensions follow the usable internal area.
Side Liners
Panels are positioned against selected box walls to separate products from the container surface. Corner clearances and folding positions can be incorporated into the layout.
Partition Liners
Slotted panels divide the internal space into individual sections. Cell dimensions are established from product dimensions, loading direction and required clearance.
Folded Liners
Crease lines allow a panel to follow corners, edges or multiple box surfaces. Crease positions are defined from the finished liner geometry rather than the flat sheet alone.

Customization Options

Dimensions
Finished length and width are specified from the box interior and required product clearance. Folding dimensions can be included where the liner changes direction.
Thickness
Reference thicknesses include 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. Selection depends on panel size, required rigidity, slot structure and folding configuration.
Cut & Crease
Slots, holes, cut-outs, shaped edges and crease lines can be processed according to an approved drawing or physical sample.
Color
Color can be specified for internal packaging identification, product grouping or warehouse organization.

Material & Construction

The liner uses corrugated polypropylene sheet with two outer surfaces and an internal hollow structure. The fluted core provides panel stiffness while keeping the construction lighter than a solid PP panel of comparable size. The polypropylene surface has low moisture absorption and can be cleaned for routine reuse. Board thickness and structure should be selected together with the finished liner dimensions and processing layout.

Production & Quality Control

Sheet Control
Incoming and in-process sheet dimensions are checked against the specified material and thickness requirements before conversion.
Dimensional Control
Finished length, width and formed dimensions are checked against the approved drawing, sample or dimensional data.
Processing Control
Slot width, cut-out position, crease location and edge geometry are checked against the confirmed liner layout.
Batch Consistency
Production references are maintained for the confirmed configuration so repeated orders can follow the same dimensional and processing requirements.

Selection Guide

Measure the Box Interior
Record the usable internal length, width and height rather than relying only on the nominal external box size. Include clearances required for loading and removal.
Define the Liner Function
Use a base liner for bottom separation, side panels for wall separation, or partitions when products require individual positions inside the container.
Match Thickness to Structure
Consider panel dimensions, unsupported span, folding requirements and slot configuration when selecting thickness. Larger panels or more complex structures may require a different thickness from smaller flat panels.
Confirm the Processing Layout
Mark slots, holes, cut-outs and crease positions on the drawing or sample. The flat pattern should correspond to the required finished geometry.

FAQ

Q: Can the liner be made for an existing reusable box?

A: Yes. The liner can be specified from the box internal dimensions, drawing, physical sample or dimensional data.

Q: What thickness range is available?

A: Reference thicknesses range from 2 to 12 mm, including 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm.

Q: Can slots and crease lines be included?

A: Yes. Slots, holes, cut-outs, crease lines and shaped edges can be incorporated according to the confirmed layout.

Q: What information is required for a quotation?

A: Provide the box internal dimensions, liner dimensions, thickness, processing requirements, drawing or sample, quantity and intended application.

Q: Can one box use different liner structures?

A: Yes. A packaging configuration can combine base panels, side liners, partitions and folded sections according to the internal arrangement.
