Description

PP Door Transit Protection Panels are twin-wall polypropylene panels designed to protect door surfaces and components during packaging, handling, storage, and transportation. They provide a physical separation layer between finished surfaces, helping reduce friction, scratching, abrasion, and impact during handling and transit.
Available as flat cut-to-size sheets or converted panels, they can be produced to specified thicknesses, dimensions, colors, and processing requirements. Panel configurations can be matched to door sizes, packaging layouts, stacking methods, pallet configurations, and transportation requirements.

Key Benefits

Surface Separation
Creates a defined barrier between stacked or palletized doors, helping reduce direct contact, friction, and surface abrasion between adjacent components.
Structural Rigidity
The hollow twin-wall structure provides a stable panel format with useful rigidity and impact resistance while maintaining a lightweight construction for manual or automated handling.
Moisture & Chemical Resistance
Polypropylene has low moisture absorption and provides resistance to moisture and many commonly encountered chemicals. This makes the panels suitable for warehouse storage, container transport, and other handling environments where moisture exposure may occur.
Reusability & Recyclability
The panels can be used in returnable packaging systems and repeated handling cycles where the packaging design allows reuse. Polypropylene is recyclable through appropriate PP recycling systems.

Product Applications

Door Face Separation
Placed between stacked wooden, steel, composite, or other door panels during packaging and palletizing to create a protective separation layer.
Door Surface & Edge Protection
Cut-to-size sheets and converted sections can be used to protect door faces, edges, corners, and other areas requiring additional separation during handling and transportation.
Pallet & Layer Separators
Used as layer pads within palletized door loads to create stable separation between product tiers and support more organized load distribution.
Export & Container Transport
Integrated into cartons, crates, pallets, and returnable transport systems for domestic and international transportation.

Size & Thickness Selection Guide

2–4 mm - Light Duty
Suitable for lightweight interior doors, surface separation, protective interlayers, and general packaging applications where moderate rigidity is required.
5–8 mm - Standard Duty
Suitable for wooden doors, composite doors, and general transit applications requiring a balance of panel rigidity, weight, and surface protection.
10–12 mm - Heavy Duty
Suitable for heavier doors, metal doors, high-load pallet configurations, and packaging systems requiring increased panel thickness and structural support.

Customization & Processing Capabilities

Cut-to-Size
Panels can be cut according to door dimensions, carton sizes, pallet layouts, and packaging drawings.
Slotting & Creasing
Custom slots and crease lines can be processed to support folding, positioning, assembly, and application-specific packaging structures.
Die-Cutting & Edge Protection
Custom profiles can be produced for door edges, corners, frames, and other areas requiring shaped protection or separation.
Printing
Surface printing can be provided for handling instructions, product identification, or other specified marking requirements.
Drawing-Based Production
Production can be arranged according to CAD drawings, dimensional specifications, packaging layouts, or physical samples.

FAQ

Q: What thicknesses are available for door protection?

A: Reference thicknesses range from 2 mm to 12 mm. The appropriate thickness depends on door weight, stacking configuration, panel dimensions, packaging structure, and transportation conditions.

Q: Can panels be custom-cut to non-standard door dimensions?

A: Yes. Panels can be produced to specified dimensions based on door measurements, packaging drawings, pallet layouts, or other technical requirements.

Q: Can crease lines and slots be added for folding around edges?

A: Yes. Creasing, slotting, and die-cutting can be used to produce foldable panels, edge protection sections, and application-specific packaging structures.

Q: What compliance or quality documentation is available?

A: Production is managed under an ISO 9001 quality management system. RoHS and REACH compliance documentation can be provided according to applicable product and market requirements.
