Hollow crates are lightweight, durable, and environmentally friendly packaging containers widely used in logistics, transportation, warehousing, and industrial production. Correct operation directly impacts their service life and protective performance. This article details the operation procedures and precautions for hollow crates to help users properly use them.

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Before use, inspect the exterior of the hollow crate to ensure it is intact and free of deformation, damage, or cracks. If any structural abnormalities are found, replace them immediately to prevent any damage to the cargo. Avoid excessive force when unpacking to prevent cracking of the edges.

2. Cargo Loading

When loading cargo, distribute the weight appropriately according to the crate's load-bearing capacity to avoid excessive localized pressure. Heavy items should be evenly placed on the bottom of the crate and secured with cushioning materials (such as foam or bubble wrap) to prevent impact during transport. Fragile items should be individually wrapped and filled with filler to minimize the risk of vibration.

3. Sealing and Securing

When sealing boxes, it is recommended to use special sealing tape or strapping tape to ensure a secure seal. If stacking is required, the weight of the upper box must not exceed the load-bearing capacity of the lower box. Stacking height is recommended to not exceed three layers. Use strapping to secure boxes during transportation to prevent sliding or tipping.

4. Storage and Maintenance

When not in use, hollow cardboard boxes should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity, which can cause material degradation. For cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth; avoid using corrosive solvents to avoid damaging the surface.

5. Recycling and Reuse

Hollow cardboard boxes can be reused multiple times and, if damaged, can be recycled as recycled material, complying with environmental standards. Minor damage to the box can be repaired to extend its lifespan and reduce packaging costs.

Proper handling of hollow cardboard boxes not only improves logistics efficiency but also reduces waste, making them a crucial component of modern packaging management.
